Probably the most autobiographic bunch of lyrics I've ever written. In May and June I had 2 strokes. I honestly didn't know if I'd ever play guitar again. Yet here we are.

I had a crazy motherfucker stick a knife in my back
Just cuz I was doing my job
I guess maybe I shoulda joined the church
instead of running `round with bikers and the mob
In Tennessee my luck took a turn
and the doc almost declared me dead
I spent a week in a coma & said enough of this shit
and I hopped up outta that bed

A friend of mine told me that I won't live long
this was 20 years ago today
well I buried his ass 15 years ago
